Fredah Daphney Foundation

We are a Non-Profit Organization (NPO) based in Centurion, South Africa, dedicated to uplifting vulnerable communities. Founded in loving memory of the late Fredah Daphney, the foundation is committed to continuing her legacy of compassion and care. Its primary mission is to provide essential support and resources to two of South Africa’s most vulnerable groups: children and the elderly. Through various initiatives, the Fredah Daphney Foundation strives to improve their quality of life, ensuring they have access to nourishment, education, and a sense of dignity. By honoring Fredah Daphney’s memory, the foundation aims to create a lasting positive impact on the lives of those who need it most, fostering a more caring and supportive society for all.

Our focus areas

Children

We create a positive lasting change in the lives of children who are less fortunate and living in devastatingly difficult situations by providing food, clothing and educational support across South Africa.

Elderly

We provide home based care services to older persons who are frail and semi frail to receive these services in the environment of their families, which will enable them to enjoy and remain within their families.

Education

Education is the key that unlocks doors of opportunity – doors that would otherwise remain closed for so many disadvantaged children. Through our Stationery, Educational Tools & Support initiative, we provide vital resources to those who need them most. These resources have the potential to change a child’s life.
